Somehow I just don't see ALL the Role players out there that we encounter coming together to agree on such a thing. Though I do agree with you on certain points maybe.... thats just not something we would all be able to agree on.

I mean there are too many boards, based in too many eras,that revere too many diffy gods, consist of too many diffy races, based in too many alien and alternate worlds with too many different rules........and so on and so forth . One could go on for hours! Thats what makes this fantasy!!

Too if you look back at our own world through its different eras and ages and cultural aspects .....are these these things not occurring and have occurred. Sooo many different cultures, peoples, beliefs, morals, revered gods. I mean you have the Greeks and their gods and the Egyptians and their gods the native Indians and their gods the ....and sooooo on and so forth. And I have not even touched on the aspects of different planes of existence.


So who is too say that what occurs in free form fantasy doesn't in a way mimic what our own world once was and still is. For though you and I believe in The One Almighty, are there not others still believing in a different creator or even multiple gods.

The only thing I could see happening is coming together with the staff on your own board and setting a standard. that would be easiest to avoid such hassles and troubles accompanied with sooo many members diffy imaginations. But on the same note isn't that whats fun, using your imagination and writing/acting out some fantasy storyline.

Its a strong point you raise though I doubt if there is answer that will be easily or quickly decided on by even one board .... I think some even offer their board specific races to choose from for rp.....Have YOU even wanted to play a predetermined race? .....One board? hehehe could we possible fathom multiple ones together in agreeance.

Sooo then get some people together from different boards with diffy views and ideas and see what you guys can work out.

I mean if you think you have a great idea why not share it, promote it, gets osme feedback on it? Grab a few admins and point their browsers to your thread here and tell them to share their thoughts, wouldn't hurt.......
