As I understand it, there are three ways to enter this place. The gates, the harbor, and the blood pass. So my question is...if you enter through the bloodpass woudn't that let you bypass the gates? I ask this only because that was how I interpreted it and want to make sure I am not erroring in my RPs.

No actually that is incorrect....the blood pass is a mountain pass that leads to the gates....the map will show you this....so if you would please make a post approaching the gates. Thankyou.
I can understand your wish perhaps to continue the rp in a hurried fascion, it is very interesting. And would be isulting to me if i thought someone was trying to just skip a crucial part of this rp titled ~Deception~, to me it seems strange why this didn't continue to the gates. Please look at the map a bit closer...thank you. This however is the second time. I feel that someone perhaps decides to skip the guards, one writes a post so long entering and exiting and don't expect guards to be around. Another thing it angers me to be called a god mod when i step guards in where they are supposed to be.To actually play the scenerio. Everyone here has the rp skill to best my guards, maybe you don't have the confidence. Well I'm here to tell you Asteria has shown me some light on this subject. And I understand how it might feel from your side. I want you to know that the guards are not perfect and in fact Ragnar Daemonslayer roleplayed his way, away from many of my guards and even my Dragon Knights and escaped, if he can. You can. But you have to take the risk that i might win. |

Please calm down, We're all trying to do things right here. I also thought Bloodpass a quick way in and I did look at the maps but could not see the pass on them. I assumed Gwen would have no problem going through gates since she lived there and is presumabley well known.
I did have Virgil approach the gates to the city, but changed it when informed I don't need to worry about gates. I have no problem changing that back. As for Gwen and her burden passing through, that will be a bit harder to edit. I have never rped here and am trying to make sure I take in account all defenses, guards and obsticals, please do not insult me by implying I'm trying to hurry the rp or do not have the rp skills to work around guards. If I do not it will show and my characters will be hurt or worse. I took the time to study the city layout and come in proper even though my final destination isn't even in this part of T'gathering. I am quite ready for a long rp that will change over time. I'm sorry you've been given the 'round-about' before, please do not take your anger out of rpers trying to do things right. Let me know when the rp is allowed to continue. Oh, one other thing, please be a bit more informative about where you wanted me to go, I had no idea what "Ooc ~Question??' meant. Had to ask around to realize I needed to go to this place. The date doesn't update on rp board so I had no idea there was a whole different board for OOC stuff here. |

Just a lil misunderstanding, I'm sure. As I posted above, I was under the impression that the pass was another, albiet dangerous, way in. Looking at the map more closely, I saw the mouth of the pass is still outside the walls & so.. yep, would have to still travel to the gates.

Woa All I can say is relax. Shadow none of this was meant persoanlly I dont think. Though I must sasy you make it diffciult fior anyone with less than honorable thoughts to even get into the city . Very unfornate we miss out on many good plots for that reason, many ppl do not wnat to fight their way in before the plot begins. No worries though.
The pass is as shdow said outside the elidoris wall and is a dangerous pass that leads directly between CD and Tg and Even Melencontri I think. We have rped it as such before anyway. I dont see a reason to go All the way around to the main gates though. I know Shadow you have rped a set of smaller and discrete gates immediately upon exit of the pass and coming to the wall. Can it not be assumed they entered this way? Perhaps some clarification in the forum description is required on my part. I take fault here and will remedy this with a more detailed forum description. LETS PROCEED ! This is a great read! |
